you must follow the NCERT books of class 6th to 12th,
you should manage your time for the study,
make a time table containing every subject in that ,
follow the previous year question papers to know the style of question papers and also to have an idea that what type of questions are asked in the exam.

Minimum Qualification required for UPSC civil service exam(I.A.S.,,I.P.S.,I.F.S.,I.R.S. etc.):
The candidate must have posses a degree course in any recognized University of India.
Minimum Qualification required for UPSC Indian Engineering service (I.E.S):
The candidate must have posses degree in Engineering in any recognized University/college of India.
In both cases final year degree students can appear the preliminary exam of UPSC.
