You can become IES through Indian engineering service exam which is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility;-

1)you must be passed a B.tech degree from a recognized university in following branch;-

---Civil engineering, Mechanics, Electrical, Electronics and tele communication

2)Age limits;-

General age limit is 21-30 years.

Age relaxation;-

3 years for obc and 5 years for sc/st category


3)You must be Indian citizen.


Number of attempts;-

General- 4 times,obc-7 times.There is no limit for sc/st category.
