Sir,my stream is ECE....Is IES is suitable/appropriate option for me?iam very interested in IES....if we select in written exam as well as interview...depending on which factor, we'll get the placement(working place)?where we have to work? is there any cutoff percentage(in BE)to write or the exam and to get the IES job?please give the information about this field?

To be eligible for the IES exam all you need is:
*You have to done your graduation in engineering from recognized university.
*Age limit 21-30 yrs..
You can apply for the exam at www.upsc.gov.in
No the marks in degree do not matters for the eligibility for the exam.
And it depends on the requirement that where you will be placed..
