I am an IT professional (B.Tech. in Computer Science) working with a MNC company and will be turning 30 in march 2013. I was wondering if I am still eligible for any grade A govenrment jobs ( UPSC, HCS etc.)

Sorry friend you can not apply for the Union Public Service commission exam because you crossed the age limit for the UPSC civil service and other exam.
Because the age limit for civil service exam 21 to 30 years.
You can apply for the civil service exam only when you belongs to the reserve category.
there is age relaxation in age for the reserve category
SC/ST + 5 years
OBC + 3 years.
But don't worry friend you can apply for the HSC exam
The age limit in HSC exam 18 to 33 years.
and you are fully eligible to apply for this exam
