Optional subject should be from your area of interest. Its the subject which gives you score higher. based on your background also you can select optional subject. for e.g If you are from Chartard Accountancy background, you can go for mathematics. its upto your choice which makes subject selection.
It depends on 2 aspects. first is your area of interest and second is your background. in both the way you can make a score in optional subjects.
