Friend in my view postal guidance is not adequate for the preparation of civil service exam. You can not get much and satisfy direction through correspondence.
You should directly join any good coaching institute for the preparation of geology subject and here you can also get the entire direction for the preparation of civil service exam.
You should study for geology subject from reference books and NCERT books.
Study the core of geology to get better result because question standard is highly tough and come from any part of subject.
You should also practice of previous year question paper of Geology to know about the exam pattern.
