UPSC Conducts many Exams each year.
First you have to set up your mind regarding the category of exam you want to appear i.eCivil Services Exam/Indian Forest Services Exam/Indian Engineering Services/Indian Economics and Statistical Services Exametc.
Each Exams differ in a relevant manner regarding the exam patterns. So, it will be your first step to choose your desired area. Then be familiar with the syllabus & the exam pattern. You have to study the entire syllabus to crack upsc exams. For that you have to follow books of top publishers like Tata Mc graw hill editions, Pearson , G.K publication, Arihant etc

first of all to appear in UPSC exams you have to satisfy the eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation in any field from recognized college or university.
2. Your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit : 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Tips for Preparation:
1. Manage your time table.
2. Start preparation according to UPSC Syllabus.
3. Study 6th to 12th NCERT books. Also study good study material related to syllabus.
4. Read newspapers and magazines daily.
5. Improve GK and English.
6. Solving previous year papers is most requisite part of preparation.

upsc conducts many exams every year such as NDA,SRCA,CDS,IAS,CPF,IPS,IFS,IRS,etc
NDA and SRCA are 12th based exams whereas CDS,IAS,CPF,IPS,IFS,IRS,etc are graduation based exam under upsc
after your electronics engineering course you will become eligible for all the graduation based exam under upsc .
for a better preparation during your course you have to work on the management of your time as you have to clear your degree also along with preparation that will make you eligible for the upsc exams .
