in how many days a candidate should fill the application form after the notification release date. when is the next notification date?

you should fill the form with in one month after the notification after that the link will not be there to fill the form and next notification will come after 6 monthes or after 1 year for IAS exam

dear aspirant,

after the release of Notification for any UPSC exam you can apply for the exam on link given at bottom. there is one month given to aspirants for applying for the exam. candidates can apply in this time span.
as you have not mentioned the UPSC exam for which you want to apply, so its not possible to which exam you are asking.

hi

to be a part of IAS,you need to appear for upsc civil service exam .

in this exam you have to clear all the stages of the exam i.e

-preliminary test
-civil service main exam
-interview

presently the civil service exam dates are

1)preliminary test dates:=
date of notification=5-03-2013
last date for receipt of application form=4-04-2013
date of exam=26-05-2013

2)main exam=1-12-2013

friend date to apply for preliminary exam and exam date is already over

if in case you had applied thats good,if you had cleared the preliminary test ,you will be allowed to give main exam

other wise you have to wait for the next notification

**genrally from the date of release of application form(any entrance exam) and last date of receipt of form would be minimum of 1 month..

for ex.for civil service exam,it would be 1 month.

The candidate can fill the application form within the time given for filling application.You can fill form either next day the notification is issued.It is important to submit form as early as possible.

There is no fixed duration of gap between the notification date and application date.Generally both the dates coincide with each other.You can check the website of UPSC to know about the next year notification date and application date for Civil services or any other exams in 2014.It is not published yet now.You can check after few months to know about the dates in the "Examination" link on the website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.Generally the notification comes out in the month of February or March.

One can fill the application form the next day from the release of notification as it is good to fill the form as early as possible.
And the notification is issued in Jan or Feb.
