Re: How should a diploma holder plan his studies so as to suit his goal to become an IFS officer?

first of all i would like to clear a thing in your mind that for IFS exam candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university,

so as i said above the candidate must have completed engineering,
so diploma holders are not eligible for the upsc exam,

i must suggest you to complete your engineering first and then apply for the upsc exams.

Eligibility criteria for IFS exam conducted by upsc:

    1. Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
    2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
    3. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
    4. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
    5. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

For any kind of information regarding upsc exams just visit the official website of upsc,

    best of luck
