for applying for UPSC exams candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university,
if candidate have done engineering then he/she can apply for the UPSC exams.,

Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by upsc:

1. Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
3. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
4. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
5. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.

Well ,you are eligible for both the exams UPSC as well as MPSC as your are IT (information technology) engineer this means that you must your b.tech in information technology.

The minimum educational qualification required for both exam is graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

And you fulfill these criteria ,so you are eligible but you must fulfill the age criteria also:

1.For upsc

Yes, you are eligible to sit for both the exams.
UPSC is for all over India, where as MPSC is only for Maharashtra state.

Any graduate from any recognized university is eligible for the exam(no cut-off percentage). As you are an engineer, you are certainly eligible.

Also you must be within the age limit of 21-30 years of age for UPSC and 21-33 for MPSC.

yes, Sir you can definitely apply for UPSC and MPSC exams being an IT engineer. For These exams you must have only graduation degree in any stream. You can apply for the exams after completing or while appearing in final year of graduation.
