Hi,
Reading newspaper and magazines is a very good habit.
When you are reading the newspaper,note down the important issues that are making the headlines.
Jot down the main points from the issue.
Keep revising these points on a weekly basis so that you remember them.

If you read daily newspapers and magazines then n down current affairs and GK types question and revise every day which you note down every day. And its also will be good for future reference for remember. So, maintain your this time schedule regular.
