problem with the year of birth for NDA second exam. help me out guyss.. plzzz...!!
I have just passed out my 12th grade wit 50%. n i tried applying for NDA second exam and the date of birth starts from 1995 n i have a problem n tat is my date of birth is of 1994 which is just acting as big barrier/obstacle to me so wat do i do now...??? plzz help me out..!!

NDA II Examination Date 2013 : 11.08.2013NDA & NA (II) Examination 2013 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 11th August 2013, for NDA admission 2013 to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 132nd Course and for the 94th Indian Naval Academy Course ( INAC ) commencing from 02 July 2014.The candidates joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech course and would be given an opportunity to join NDA Executive and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy subject to availability of National Defence Academy Vacancies 2013. The date of holding the examination as mentioned above is liable to be changed at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.
If you were born in the year 1994 than you cannot aply for the 11th August 2013 NDA exams.
In fact now you cannot apply for the NDA exams in future also
UPSC has set the rule that for the next NDA exams that will be held on 11th August 2013 candidates born between 2nd July 1995 to 1st January 1998 can apply
So complete your Graduation and than you can apply for the UPSC conducted CDS exams
Dear friend,
If your DOB is in 1994, then I am sorry to say that you are no more eligible for NDA Exams.
That means, now you cannot appear for upcoming NDA Exams.
According to latest Notification of NDA II Exam 2013 by UPSC,
Only those Candidates can appear for NDA Exam, whose DOB lies between 02-01-1995 and 01-07-1998.
As your DOB falls in 1994, so you are not eligible for NDA Exam.
However, now you must join any Bachelor Course.
After joining any Bachelor Course, you should start your preparation for CDS Exam.
If you really want to serve your Nation through Army, Air Force or Navy, then CDS is the best option for you.
But you must do Graduation first. You can also appear for CDS Exam even if you are in final year of your Graduation.
The examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.
Upcoming Exam will be conducted on 8 September 2013.
Notifications will be out on 25 May 2013 on the official site i.e. http://upsc.gov.in
CDS has the following wings, you can apply for the wing as per your Eligibility Criteria.
Indian Military Academy Examination :-
<> You should have attained the age of 19 years and must have not attained the age of 24 years.
<> You must have Bachelor's degree from any recognized Institution.
<> Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
Indian Navy Examination :-
<> You should have attained the age of 19 years and must have not attained the age of 22 years.
<> You must have Bachelor's degree from any recognized Institution.
<> Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
Air force Examination :-
<> You should have attained the age of 19 years and must have not attained the age of 23 years.
<> You must have Bachelor's degree from any recognized Institution.
<> Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
Officer Training Academy Examination :-
<> You should have attained the age of 19 years and must have not attained the age of 25 years.
<> You must have Bachelor's degree from any recognized Institution.
<> Only Unmarried male Or female candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
For General Candidate, minimum required percentage in Graduation Course is 60%.
However, for reserved category candidates it is 55%.
