    hi
I would like to bring to your kinf notice that your graduation level degree does not reflects negative on your image in the IAS exam.
Your graduation degree, your marks in it, your secondary and senior secondary marks, all these things, they do not matter on your personality in the interview or in the path of your becoming an IAS.

    Hello dear,

Its a myth in people that having a professional degree like B.tech effect UPSC civil services interview round.

There is never a negative impact during UPSC civil services interview round if a candidate doesn't have a professional degree like B.Tech.

If a candidate have any other degree rather than B.tech he /she should be good in that.

    best of luck.

    No Friend,
You will not have any problem due to your graduation degree.

The educational qualification for the UPSC exam is to have a graduation degree in any stream/discipline from a recognized university.

    SELECTION PATTERN:-

    >>Prelims

    >>Mains

    >>Interview.

During the interview session you will be facing many questions about your marks, studies etc. But if you are able to have a good marks in the Prelims and Main exam then you will be having a advantage.

In the interview session you will be facing a problem if you have scored low marks in the bachelor degree, and you need to be ready with positive answers.

    Best Of Luck..!!

    dear friend,
there is no need to get worried for not having your graduation like B.Tech for appearing in Civil Services Examination.

You are in every respect equal to a graduate in engineering as per selection procedure for Civil Services is concerned.

The only educational criteria for appearing in IAS examination is that you should have passed your graduation in any stream from any government recognized university.

So no need to worry that you are not B.Tech.You have equal opprtunities fro clearing Civil Services Examination as compared to a graduate in engineering .

Thank you and all the best
