    Dear,
No, There is no negative impact on your successful attempt. Yes, the Board may ask you the reason of your last failure. So you have to make your mind to face such related questions. However, If your answer satisfy them, then that may be your positive point. Remember, everyone knows that Failure is the Pillar of Success. So don't worry on the first attempt's failure and its impact to the next attempt. But try to learn of your mistakes which might be the reasons of your failure. Thanks....

    Hello,

    >> Its a known fact that the Civil Services Exams which are conducted annually by the UPSC is one of the toughest exams that are all-totally conducted.
    >> Hence,it is not usually possible to clear the exams in one's first attempt.
This only helps you build proper experience and knowledge !!

    >> Now,coming down to your query, its very considerable that you have scored low marks in your first attempt for the exam.
    >> Having cleared them while the second attempt is a very big thing done in itself.
    >> Hence, you are not going to have any negative impact at the Interviews.
Rather you will be praised further.

    >> Your hard work is ought to be considered.
    >> Therefore, keep away all such negative thoughts and pay heed for the preparations for the Interviews.

    >> For details and notifications, visit the Official Website of the UPSC :: www.upsc.gov.in !!

    ALL THE BEST.

There is no negative impact at the interview stage of cleared attempt. This is because UPSc exams are national level exams. It is not possible to always clear the exam like those in school & colleges. What you need is sound knowledge of your subjects and presence of mind during interview.
