    Yes, you are eligible for IPS. IPS stands for Indian Police service. UPSC conducts civil services exams for IPS post once in a year.To become an IPS one can qualifying the entrance exam successfully. The eligible candidates are apply for the exam through online/ off line mode.

    Eligibility criteria:

    Educational Qualification::
    1. The candidates must posses a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized University.
    2.The students of final year degree course is also eligible to apply for the exam.
    3.There is no percentage bar needed to apply for the exam.

    Age limit:
    For General candidates age must be under 21 year to 30 year , OBC candidate has 3 year age relaxation, SC/ST candidates are 5 year age relaxation.
    The upper age limit is also relaxed for defense services personnel & certain others.

    Number of attempt:
    If you are General candidate then you can apply for civil service exam 4 times, OBC candidate can apply 7 times, SC/ST candidate has 5 year age relaxation.

    So,according to the educational qualification you are eligible for IPS.

    yeah, you are eligible to apply for IPS officer with 65% marks in BCA. because for IPS you need graduation in any discipline with any percentage. So don't worry about the percentage you got in B.A. and you have to prepare hard to be an IPS officer.

    For IPS you have to write Civil Services exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC every year. For exam your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. There is also relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

    The exam is conducted in Three phases named as Prelims, Mains and Interview. all the phases are necessary to clear.

    yes,you are eligible for this but also you have to prepare the others subjects like 6-12th English,science and Social studies.

    Hi,

    Yes you are absolutely eligible for IPS.

    Ok, let me tell you the academic eligibility conditions for applying in the IPS. To get a direct recruitment in IPS you have to write certain examinations which is known as civil service examination conducted by upsc.

    Any degree from a recognized university would be the minimum educational qualification required to appear for the exam; however, the candidates who are appearing in the requisite degree qualification are also eligible to appear.

    Firstly there is no restriction on marks for IPS exam.You will be eligible if you are a graduate.Moreover 65% marks is enough to make you eligible for any Graduate level examination across the country.So stop bothering about marks and start preparing before your age limit crosses.Check the website of UPSC for the next notifications at upsc.gov.in.

    Yes,you are. The condition is that you should be graduate that you are. Forget everything and prepare for IPS

    Yes ofcourse you can apply for the IPS examination only you need to apply for the Civil services examination to get selected into the same.
    The examination is conducted by UPSC once in a year, you need to crack the same.
    Following steps are involved selection of IPS officer.
    1) CSAT(civil services aptitude test)
    2) MAINS examination.
    3) interview.
    Here is the required eligibility criteria to appear for examination.
    - you must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
    -Final year graduation persuing candidates can also apply for the same but they need to show the proof of completion of the graduation at the time of verification.
    AGE -
    -basic age requirement is 21 to 30 years.
    -if OBC then 3 years of age relaxation will be there.
    -If SC/ST candidate then 5 years of age relaxation given.
    -If PH then 10 years of relaxation.
    You have completed the BA then its easier for you to apply for the same .
    After applying for this exam you need to prepare in a very high concentration because this exam is the toughest in india.
    You must clear it if you like to get the selection in Indian police service.

    Dear Friend,

    IPS comes under civil services. To become an IPS officer you give civil services examination.

    For civil services examination percentage does not matter .If candidate just have passing marks in graduation are also eligible.

    So, do not worry about that give civil services examination.

    But it is compulsory that your age must be under 21-30 years.

    there is no any barrier of percentage because there is no any criteria requiring special percentage in any class.

    because there is no any criteria for percentage in the civil services examination ,


    there are just few qualities and requirements required from the aspirants.

    take a look on it , it will give you the basic information about the examination and will helpful to achieve your goal.


    Basic requirements:-


    1. must be an indian.

    2. must be a graduate ( with ugc recognized university)



    age requirements:-


    1.the age required for the civil services is between 21-30 .

    2. an age relaxation is given to the candidates of obc and sc/st category of 3 and 5 years respectively .

    3. an age relaxation is also provided to the central govt. employees and physically handicapped persons of 5 years and 10 years respectively..


    no of attempts allowed:-

    there is a barrier of no of attempts allowed according to their category and age criteria .

    1. ,for general category:- 4 attempts .

    2. for obc catgeory:- 7 attempts.

    3. for sc/st category:-no any limit( as many times as they want in their age criteria)






    so whatever percentage you scored ,doesn't matter ,,don't believe such rumors and work hard..

    So don't worry about the percentage.

    Yes you are eligible to become an IPS officer unless you are satisfied with age limit that is you should be above 21 and below 25 during the examination. And if you are SC/ST,MBC,BC,OC there different criteria which you can find in www.upsc.gov.in
