UPSC stands for the Union Public service commission.It is an autonomous body of Indian government which is responsible for conducting large of examinations at the national level.Some of the examinations conducted by the UPSC are as follows:

1.Civil services examinations

2.Indian engineering services

3.Combined defense services examinations

4.Special class railway apprentice examination

5.National defense academy examinations

6.Central Police force examinations

7.Combined medical services exams

8.Indian economic services

9.Indian forest services

10.Geologists exam and some more

Out of these exams ,SCRA and NDA are at 10+2 level and rest have minimum requirement of bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

Whereas HPPSC stands for the Himachal Pradesh Public service commission.It conducts examinations for the different posts under the state government of Himachal Pradesh.

In other words it is state civil services examinations.

UPSC stands for UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

This organization conducts the exams like IAS,IPS,IFS etc.at the central level in all over India.

Every candidate who have done his graduation from any state of the India can apply for the exam.

Whereas

HPPSC stands for HIMACHAL PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

This organization conducts the exams for the Himachal pardesh candidates.

Only the candidates from Himachal paredesh can appears for the Exams.
