I had done Diploma in Civil Engg from Govt. Polytecnic and now pursuing B.tech (Civil Engg.) from RVD UNIVERSITY through distance education and am in 7th sem .Sir i am highly interested in UPSC & GATE exams but am confused of its eligibilty after January as it is listed in 44 black listed universities.Sir kindly help with your answer.

you are not eligible for upsc exams .
infect a student who belonging from a blacklisted university can not appear in any govt. exam

Yeah.. it's well valid... you are fully eligible to give UPSC examination.
As the the eligibilty criteria for UPSC is that you should be just graduate from a recognized university... doesn't matter whether you are graduated from distance course or not.
And same goes for GATE exam also.
So, just cheer up... and prepare accordingly.
