Hi
I am sorry to say but you are not eligible for giving the examination, as you are over age now.
Because for giving the upsc civil services exam you need to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
And as your age is not under 30 you are not eligible.
However if you belong to the obc or the sc/st category then you can apply for the exam because a relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and the sc/st category respectively
Dear There,
CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test. The UPSC conducts CSAT examination every year.
You are not eligible to take up CSAT examination next year as a general category candidate. But if you belong to OBC category or SC/ST category you are eligible for this examination.
The eligibility criteria for this examination are as follows:
* Candidate must be Graduate in any stream from any recognized college / university.
* UPSC has not set any minimum percentage bar in Graduation to be eligible for the examination, that is if candidate passed Graduation with minimum qualifying marks (45%) hr or she is eligible for the examination.
* Citizenship - Indian.
* Age must be in between 21-30 years for General category candidates.
Candidates belonging to OBC have been granted 3 years relaxation in upper age whereas SC/ST candidates have been granted 5 years relaxation in upper age.
This is the all knowledge I have for you.
Thanks
