    After Completing PG from Andhra University you should start the preparation for the Civil Service exam.

    This exam is organized by the Union Public Service Commission.

    To apply for the CSE exam your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation as per government norms

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years



    UPSC will release the notification for Civil exam on 2/2/2013.

    After filling up the application form work very hard to crack the Civil exam.

    you can also take the help of any good coaching institute to crack the Civil Service exam.

    You have to apply for Civil Services Examination to become IAS Officer.
    Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.

    Exam Format of Civil Services Examination

    The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
    1. Preliminary Examination � comprising 2 exams � General Studies and CSAT
    2. Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)

    CIVIL SERVICES (Preliminary) EXAM., 2013

    Date of Notification 02.02.2013
    Last Date of Form Filling 04.03.2013
    Date of Exam 19.05.2013

    The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
    Educational Qualification
    The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
    Final year degree students are also eligible
    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

    Age limit
    General 21-30 yrs
    SC/ST 21-35 yrs
    OBC 21-33 yrs
    PH 21-40 yrs

    Number of attempts permitted
    General 4
    OBC 7
    PH 7
    SC/ST No Limit

    Nationality should be Indian.

    To become an IAS officer you would be crack the Civil Service Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year

    You must be Graduate from any recognized university while you are doing Post Graduate degree.

    Age should be between 21-30 year
