Hi Aspirant,
After completion of B. Tech degree you want to do non technical jobs.
In my point of view you can appear for CSAT ( Civil Service Aptitude Test) exam.
UPSC conducts the exam of CSAT for the recruitment in various posts as like:
IAS ( Indian Administrative Service)
IPS ( Indian Police Service)
IRS ( Indian Revenue Service)
Required Criteria for CSAT exam
Candidates must hold graduation degree in any stream from valid colleges or university
No certain marks of percentage required to apply.
Candidates age should not be more than 30 years and less than 21 years.
Age relaxation for OBC 3 years and for SC/ST 5 years
You must be Indian.
Exam pattern for CSAT exam
Prelims( 400 marks)
Mains (2000 marks)
Interview(300 marks)
After acquiring qualifying marks in written exam you will be called for Interview.
Attempts for CSAT exam
4 attempt for General Candidates
7 attempts for OBC Candidates
No limit for SC/ST Candidates

Minimum educational qualification is graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.
For non technical posts it conducts exams like :
-Civil services exams-You can join the Indian Administrative Service,Indian Police service,Indian Foriegn
Service included in 24 other posts/service to which recruitment is made.
-Combined Defence Services exam-You can join the Indian defence forces in Army/Navy/Airforce/OTA,etc.
-Central Police Forces exam(Assistant Commandant)-You will get posts in the Assistant commandant rank.
