As you describe that you have BCOM with honours,then I suggest ou to take Economics as the option subject in IAS exam for good result in exam.because you have done bcom then.you have great grip over this subject so I suggest to take this subject.
But if you are not satisfy with this then you can also choose Sociology for IAS exam which ensure your success in exam and for your success you must read IGNOU notes.which can be easily available at Book shops.
