There is no minimum marks required in B.Tech for appear in IES examination.All you is to pass your B.Tech degree from recognized University.
Final year B.Tech students are allowed to appear in IES examination.

Friend, there is no percentage requirement to apply for IES exam. For IES exam,you need to be graduated from a recognized discipline university.The IES exam is conducted by the UPSC. A candidate can apply for IED exam between the age of 21-30 years. A final year student can also apply for IES exam. This exam is held only for the citizens of India.
So, don't worry about the percentages and prepare for the exam.

there is no minimum percentage bar for IES exam. so don't worry about that. for IES you just have completed Engineering degree in any discipline. you can also apply for IES while studying in final year of Engineering degree. IES is Indian Engineering Services Exam which is conducted by UPSC for various technical fields.
you can only write IES exam by selecting any one from the following four branches:
1. Mechanical Engineering
2. Electrical Engineering
3. Civil Engineering
4. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
for IES your age should be within 21 years to 30 years. There is also relaxation in upper age according to government norms vise 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
IN IES there is tough competition and work hard to crack the exam.

There is no such percentage criteria in graduation to give IES examination.
Eligibility criteria for IES exam is:
1. nationality - Indian
2. age - 21 yrs to 30 yrs
3. upper age relaxation is given to SC/ST (5 yrs) and OBC (3 yrs)

One needs t have a degree in Engineering from a recognised University and that will be enough to make one eligible for IES exam. The age limit permitted is 21-30 years for General category candidates.
As you are in 3rd year now,you are not eligible as of now.Only Final year and pass out candidates are eligible. Try to improve your score even if there is no marks restriction. Better study will always lead to better marks and better study will help you in qualifying ES exam as well. Keep preparing.All the best
There is no percentage is required to apply forthe indian engineering services because it only requires thegraduation in engineering from a recognised university or equivalent.
MSc degree or its equivalent with wireless communications , electronics ,radio physics or radio engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain services / posts only.
Candidates appearing at their engineering degree or equivalent examination are also eligible to compete.
Age should be 21 vto 30 years for the same.
Examination pattern will be like this -
Written tests paper 1 objective general ability test part A .
General english.
Part B general studies 200 marks.
Paper 2 and 3 objective type and civil engineering/mechanical/electrical engineering /electronics and telecommunication engineering 200 marks for each paper.
PAper 4 and 5 will be conventional type .
total marks will be 1000 for the written exam.
Personality test will be 200 marks.
