No ,it is not necessary to give MPSC examinations before UPSC examinations;

MPSC stands for the Maharashtra Public service commission.

>>It is state civil services examinations organised by Maharashtra governement.


Requirements;

>>Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

>>Your age must be between 21-333 years.

>>Relaxation of three years to obc and 5 years to sc/st .



UPSC stands for the Union Public service commission.

>>It organises lots of examinations every year :

>>10+2 for NDA and SCRA

>>graduation for civil services,IES,CDS,CAPF,CMS etc.

Yes...you can, but its not the hard and fast rule to do so. It is appreciable because you will be cleared about your preparation. Generally there is no limited rule for attempting in MPSC. But in case of UPSC there is limited chances i.e. 4times only, for a General Candidate. So, don't waste your no. of precious attempts without preparation....Good Luck....
