you did mentioned your qualification as 12th thats good
but you are only eligible in upsc sessions like NDA,SCRA
(railway)
the syllabus for these both exams are same i.e.,
arithmetic reasoning,aptitude,general awareness and english
these are enough to get it
so my friend prefer r.s.aggarawal its a good approach to you
it will also helpful in any competitive exam
along with that improve your communication skills also
it would be better for future
any way good luck ..
Dear,
you mentioned your qualification as +2, but didn't mention the stream(Arts/Science/Commerce). If you are a Science Student, then only you can appear the UPSC's SCRA & NDA examination. But if you are an arts or commerce student, then you can't appear at this stage. Therefore, you have to gain general knowledge. So work hard. Best of Luck
Hi Aspirant
UPSC Stands for the Union public service commission
And conducting the high profile exam and for the highest
Rank for the country IAS(Indian Administrative Services)
And for the IPS(Indian Police Service )
And conducting the civil services exam every year
In the civil services exam their are two optional subjects
general studies and english and i can only give you details about
only both these exams books as you have not given full details
Like which subjects you are going to choose as optional subjects
But for the English you can go for the R.S Aggarwal book
And also the s.p bakshi book too because both books covers almost all syllabus
And for the g.k lucent book is best
Also take help from monthly pratiyogita darpan
Best of luck

Dear if you are thinking to prepare for this exam by using various books then you must do it because you are only 12th passed student and you have three years to appear for this examination so I would like to suggest you to start your preparation with these books and when you come in final year of your bachelor's degree then you must apply and if possible the start taking coaching institute and get full guidance and support in your preparation for sure selection and they will give you complete study material with preparation strategy and some model question papers for practice but this all is not easy to manage with graduation so first you should start preparation on your own the if you feel necessity then you must begin coaching for this exam
The best way to crack this exam is that you must try to read each book more than 15 times before examination but this strategy is for mains examination and for prelims, you should study hard and read each book more than 5 times before exam and give at least 10 hours for your preparation everyday for every subject and keep practicing with some previous years and model question papers
