Yes the syllabus for all these exams is same. All the posts are appointed on the basis of one exam. that is, civil services exam conducted by the upsc for the number of vacant seats available.

Preliminary Examination : This section will have two papers that are :

General Science and Technology

CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test : 200 marks, objective type and contains following topics

Comprehension
Interpersonal Skills including Communication Skills
Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability
Decision Making and Problem Solving
General Mental Ability
Basic Numeracy - number and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. Data Interpretation - Charts, Graphics Tables, Data Sufficiency etc. - class X level

Main Examination : Follows seven papers will be conducted in this section : All papers are conventional type

Paper I - Section I for Essay on given topic - 200 marks and section II will be based on English Language for 100 marks = 300 marks

Paper III - General Studies II - Governance, Polity, Social Justice and International Relations

Personality Test : 275 marks when you pass main examination then only you will be eligible for this examination
