I am interested to become IAS or IRS officer. Should I check only options IAS, IRS? What will happen if I check all the options while filling the form?

I have little confusion , since upsc broadcastes its notification which include all IAS, IFS, IPS and IRS, is there any kind of preference or merit level by which they give the the required post ? i want to become IAS or IRS , do i have to tick only these two options while filling the form? or if i will tick all options, what will happen ? will there be any preferential kind of scenario?

Friend Here I clear your confusion regarding post preference while filling application form. Friend you want to be an IAS or IRS officer. but you should check for all the post so the in final merit list you could choose the post as per your desire. if you get High rank in merit list you will be eligible for all the posts but if you get low rank you will be eligible for the few posts. So checked for all the posts.
