UPSC conduct Several Exams every year and IES(Indian Engineering Services) Exam is one of them. After clearing IES Exam you have the opportunity to get the jobs in Technical Field.
Eligibility Criteria For IES exam:
1. you need to complete or appearing in final year of B.E/B.Tech.
2. your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. and there is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates like 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
How to prepare:
1. Manage your time table.
2. Go through IES syllabus and start preparation according to syllabus.
3. Study 6th to 12th NCERT books.
4. Try to solve previous year question Papers it give you confidence. you can download question Papers from the following link:

Application Form:
Generally Forms are available in March or April month of every year. you can fill the application form online on http://www.upsconline.nic.in/

To appear for the IES, you have to pass or appearing the final year of the B.tech/B.E. at any recognized university in the discipline of Mechanical, Civil and Electrical. You have to set a proper time management for your preparation.
