    UPSC is a commission which conducts several exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE), the most popular misnomer 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.

    So the age limits and maximum number of attempts for CSE are:

    Age Limits :- Genereal:21-30yrs, OBC:21-33yrs, SC/ST:21-35yrs

    Note: there is a considerable age relaxation for special categories like Bind,Deaf-Mute, etc.

    Maximum number of attempts :- General:4 , OBC:7 , SC/ST:No limit

    here is list of age limit and limit of number of attempt category wise:

    Category Age Limit Limit Number of attempts

    1. General 21 years to 30 years 4

    2. OBC 21 years to 33 years 7

    3. SC/ST 21 years to 35 years no limit

    Dear here are the age limit details:


    For general candidates:- 21- 30 years,. (3 attempts)

    for obc candidates :- 21- 33 years. (4 attempts)

    for sc/st/others :- 21 - 35 years (no limit )

    Dear Friend,

    AGE LIMIT FOR WRITING UPSC EXAMS ARE:
    candidate must be minimum of 21 years to apply for UPSC exam. Maximum age limit allowed is 30 years . There is relaxation provided for OBC and SC/ST candidates of 3 years and 5 years respectively. Maximum number of attemts possible is 4.

    The age limit criteria for the UPSc exam is below :
    For general age limit is between 21-30
    For OBC age limit is between 21-33
    For Sc/ST age limit is between 21-35
    For ex-serviceman age limit is between 21-35
    For physically hanicapped age limit is between 21-40

    The number of attempts are allowed :

    For general maximum 4
    For OBC maximum 7
    For Sc/ST there are no limit for the attempts .

    Besides this one should done their graduation from any recognized university .

    So if you eligible then start the preparation for the exam and give it .

    Dear

    For the civil service exam :_

    The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.

    The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.

    Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited

    For the cds exam :-

    exam conducted bi-annually

    Indian Maltery Accedmay age limit is: 19 to 24 Years

    For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years

    Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years


    Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years

    no age relaxation for the reserve category

    For NDA exam:-

    age limit between the 16.5 years to 19 years only unmarried male candidate

    For SCRA exam:-

    age limit is 17 to 21 years.

    to apply for the upsc exam the age limits is 21 to 30 years,

    but upsc provides age relaxation to the candidates who belongs to OBC and SC/St category.

    the candidates who belongs to OBC gets age relaxation of 3 years,

    the candidates who belongs to SC/ST category gets the age relaxation of 5 years,

    the number of attempts

    general 4 attempts
    OBC 7 attempts
    SC/ST no limits.

    UPSC is the exam conducting body of India and it conducts a lots of examinations.Some of them are :

    1.Civil services examination






    >>Graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

    >>Age: 21-30 years for general candidates.

    --->Relaxation of 3 years to obc and 5 years to sc/st .

    2.NDA examinations:



    >>10+2 with PCM with minimum 60% marks from arecognised board.

    >>Unmarried male candidates only.

    3.CDS :



    >>Graduation from a recognised university.

    >>Age limitations: 19-25 years.

    -Assuming that you are interested in the UPSC Civil Services exam
    as you have not mentioned which exams conducted by UPSC,the
    Age Limits:

    General Category - 21-30yrs
    OBC Category - 21-33yrs
    SC/ST Category - 21-35yrs

    Maximum Attempts:
    General Category - 4 attempts
    OBC Category - 7 attempts
    SC/ST Category - Unlimited no. of attempts

    The age Limit and Max. Attempt is as follows:

    Age Limit and Max Attempts:

    1) General--
    21 to 30 years; 4 Attempts

    2) OBC--
    21 to 33 years; 7 Attempts

    following are the details.

    GENERAL:

    age :21 to 30 years
    attempts:4

    OBC:

    age:21 to 33 years
    attempts:7

    SC/ST:
    age: 21 to 35 years
    attempts:unlimited.
