hello friend,
Dear friend ,, first of all i tell you that it will totally depend on your choice that which subject do you like most and in
which subject you have interest and want to go with , whatever subject you choose in graduation it doesn't matter but if you are going
to take computer science and wanna become an IAS officer then here i advised you not to take the subject because there is no any
subject related to computer science in civil services examination ,so it will not be beneficial for an IAS / civil services aspirants .
here are the list of the subjects you are offered in mains top choose your choice .
*Mechanical Engineering,
*Medical Science,
*Philosophy,
*Physics,
*Political Science and International Relations,
*Psychology,
*Public Administration,
*Sociology,
*Statistics,
*Zoology
*Agriculture,
*Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science,
*Botany,
*Chemistry,
*Civil Engineering,
*Commerce and Accountancy,
\Economics,
*Electrical Engineering,
*Geography,
*Geology,
*History,
*Law,
*Management,
*Mathematics
so as you see that there is no any subject related to your subject you are going to take so it will be very difficult for you to prepare
other subjects for the examination after your graduation so i advised you that if you wish to become IAS officer then you should not
to take this subject , rest depends on your choice ,, but if you love to read it then ok you should take it because
if you have no interest than you can't read that subject deeply...
so good luck and think about it to take right decision and talk to your elders ,they will surely help you.
but you have to fulfill other requirements , so you should get the information about that.

Dear Friend,
B.Sc is a graduation degree course and for civil services exam you should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.
No percentage barrier , those candidates are also eligible which just have passing marks in graduation.
Your age must be under 21-30 years.
Selection Procedure :-
Preliminary Exam
Main Exam
Interview
Good Luck....
Dear do not think about any particular bachelor's degree course because all the bachelor's degrees are accepted by the board in case of educational qualification and there is no preference given to any degree holder because recruitment process of IAS examination is fair and transparent enough and there is no doubt about any bachelor's degree course and if you want to qualify examination then you will have to leave everything and just start preparation and complete in limited time to get more knowledge further and the better way for you is that you stop wasting your time in such type of things and keep preparation continue so you cover more syllabus in limited time because next year's Civil Service Examination will be conducted around April of 2014 (Preliminary) so you should make it your target and work hard to qualify this examination at any cost because if you will waste your time then you will get nothing and competition is huge that is why you will have to show best performance ever to get the job
Higher marks will be preferred by the board in selection but experience of some related service also matters in selection that is why you should earn more knowledge and get experience if you can then you will see that you are getting preference in ranking so give more time for preparation first and qualify exam then personality test
Other details about this test are available in attached notification please download
All the best
