In UPSC exam the age relaxation is provided to the reserved categories.
If you belongs to the reserved category then you must get the relaxation in the UPSC exam.
Age limit in the UPSC exams are 21-30 years but the relaxation is provided to the reserved categories as given below.

UPSC stands for Union public Service Commission.
UPSC conducts many civil services exam.
Eligibility;-
1)you must be passed a graduation degree from a recognized university. there is no percentage requirement.
Age limits;-
General category age limits is 21-30 years.
OBC category age limit is 21-33 years.
SC/ST category age limit is 21-35 years.
PH candidates age limit is 21-40 years.

The age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years for unreserved category.
The age relaxation for reserved category.
Three years age relaxation for the other backward classes.
Chance to Attempt of the exam is also more than the unreserved category
Seven chance to attempt the exam for OBC category.

In the UPSC Civil services Exams, MBC or Most Backward Category candidates falls under the OBC criteria only
Age limit to apply is:
Minimum 21 years for all the candidates
Maximum 30 years for the General Candidates
Maximum 33 years for the OBC CandidatesMaximum 35 years for the SC/ST Candidates
Education:Graduation pass in any stream
Next UPSC Prelims Exams will be held on 26th MAY 2013
Last date to apply is 4th April 2013

Well mine, friend, There is no such category called MBC on union level..
These categories are found are on state level and thus have no such meaning...
In fact these these are only categories on National/union level which are accepted by UPSC :
>> General
>> OBC
>> SC
>> ST
>> Physically Disabled
So, if you belong to OBC/SC/ST/PD you are eligible ..
Otherwise You belong to general entitled to no reservation or discount
OBC : Age relaxation(3 years) with more number attempts(7)
SC : Age relaxation(5 years) with more number attempts(No limit)
ST : Same as SC
