general age limit is 21-30 years,
if you belong to sc category, then therfore age relaxation is given to you.
for sc/st candidates, age relaxation is 21-35 years,
5 years age relaxation is given to you.

Age relaxation for the reserve category.
3 years for the obc category.
5 years for the reserve category.
10 years for the physical handicapped.
Age relaxation for the same both male and female candidate.

The Age limit for SC men and women is same as per Civil Services Examination eligibility criteria.
The Age Limit Criteria for Various Categories is as follows:
General 21-30 yrs
SC/ST 21-35 yrs
OBC 21-33 yrs
PH 21-40 yrs
The Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services Examination is as follows:
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Final year degree students are also eligible.
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university.
The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4.
The candidate should be Indian.

Civil services examinations is conducted every year by the Union Public service commission.The important dates for the Civil services examinations 2013 are as follows:
Date of notification:05/03/2013.
Last date of receiving application:04/04/2013
Date of examinations:26/05/2013.
The educational qualifications are same for all category candidates either they are male or female that is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.Candidates who are in final year of bachelor's degree are also allowed to appear for the examinations.
Now coming to your query:
Yes ,there is age relaxations for the SC/ST candidate either they are male or female ,the age limit for general category is 21-30 years whereas for the SC/ST candidates it is 21-35 years.So age relaxations of five years is provided to the SC/ST.
In case of no of attempts also SC/St get unlimited attempts that is they can give all the Civil services exams that fall within their age limit whereas for general it is only four and for obc it is seven.
So there is large possibility for sc/st candidates to qualify for the exams.Female candidates are also extempted from paying examination fee.
You have to labour hard in order to compete this examination as it is not easy to crack without proper preparations.So prepare well and then give this exam.

Hai,Normally the age limit for upsc examination is 21 to 30 years..But for scheduled caste it is upto the age of 35 year..Good luck.

the age limit for the sc/st women candidate is same for as per the sc/st men category. The age limit for giving the upsc exam is 21-35 years of age and there is no restriction in giving the exam for the number of attempts. You can give the exam as many time as you want till the age of 35.
