no, there is no benifit to take NCC TILL YOU GIVE THE MAINS. YOU WILL GET BENIFIT AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW.

The NCC training does not have direct relation with all the UPSC exams,there are various number of exams that is conducted by the UPSC,like the civil services,defence service related etc.

You will get the benefit of being a NCC cadet only if you have applied for the defence exams like the CDSE(Combined Defence Service Examination).The CDSE is a entry in the army,navy and air force.

Actually the point is that if you have a NCC certificate then you can apply for many divisions in the defence,now the point is that having as NCC certificate will allow you to skip the entrance exam ,you will get in the SSB interview directly while others not having the NCC certificate,will have to go for the entrance exam.

Hence apparently one can say that NCC and UPSC exams have nothing to do together and basically there is no relation between UPSC and NCC.
