UPSC and NTPC are totally different .
UPSC stands for Union Public Services Commission.
Through UPSC you can get the posts like IAS, IPS, IES, CDS, IFS, CMS, CPF etc.

NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation.
through NTPC you can apply for GDMO, Executive Trainees(Engineering Discipline), Executive Trainees(HR and Finance), Diploma Trainees.

There is a great difference in both exams..

The UPSC exams are for the all of the graduates while the NTPC conducts only the technical exams only..

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission while NTPC stands for the National Thermal Power Corporation..

There is nothing to compare between both sector

To appear in upsc any graduation is enough

where in ntpc all graduations are not applicable

There be a some courses that belongs to electrical and electronics courses

Those only can applicable for give ntpc

Coming to upsc you can write any exam with a qualification of graduation

Any way do not go for both ..select one and grab it

both are totally different firld

UPSC is the union public service commission.


--->it is responsible for conducting all the civil services examinations like NDA,IES,IFS,CDS,IAS etc.

NTPC is the national thermal power corporation

--->it gives job to the graduates of EEE,ECE,mechanical engineering. etc.

so,there is nothing to compare the both sectors.

NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation , It recruites for the posts of Technical level only like Executive Trainees,GDMO etc.,

very less posts offered by NTPC compared to UPSC....
