Last Date for submission of applications: 12th November, 2012No. 5/1/2012-EI (B): An examination for selection of candidates for appointment as Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Dept of Indian Railways will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on20th January, 2013
Vacancy: The approximate number of vacancies, to be filled on the results of the examination is 42

Dear aspirant,

SCRA is Special Class Railway Apprentice recruited by Indian Railways every year.

Those who have passed 10+2 with physics and maths can apply for this exam.

The age should be between 17 to 21 years when you are applying for this examination.

The last date for applying is 12th november 2012.

You can apply for this exam though UPSC website because it is a exam conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission).

The application form is common for all the UPSC examinations.

You just you have to select the exam for which you are applying.

When you have filled all the details into the application form you will see a Bank Challan print option.

You have to take the print out of challan an submit the fee in SBI bank and get the counter foil which has a transaction ID which will be the proof that you have paid the fees.

The last of the SCRA exam is the 12 november-2012, the exam held in the month of the January.
The eligibility criteria of the exam:-
Candidate must have complete the +2 class from the approved board.
The age limit for the exam is the 17 to 21 years.
For this exam both male and female candidate are eligible.
The exam complete in one day
Three papers are taken by the upsc in a one day
1. General ability
2. Science (physics & chemistry)
3. Mathematics.
