SCRA stands for the Special class Railway apprentice examination.It is organised every year by UPSC.
The certain minimum requirement for this examination:
>>10+2 from a recognised board with minimum of 60% marks with PCM as compulsory subjects.
>>10+2 appearing candiadtes can also apply for the exams.
>>You should be between 17 to 21 years.
>>You must be an Indian citizen.

Physical Standards required for UPSC SCRA Exam :
Candidate must be physically fit and active according to physical standards for admission to special class railway apprentices examination as per board rules.
Codes for physical standards
1. M F - Work performed by manipulating - With fingers
2. K C - Work performed by Kneeling and Crouching
3. B N - Work performed by Bending
4. S - Work performed by sitting - On chair or bench
5. S T - Work performed by Standing
6. W Work performed by walking
7. SE - Work performed by Seeing
8. H Work performed by Hearing/Speaking
9. R W Work performed by Reading and Writing
10. C - Communication

Candidate has eye sight 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses for tech branch &
Submarine Cadre and 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses for the Naval Architecture Cadre.
Minimum height required-157c.m for men & 152 c.ms for women with correlated weight.
Minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cm
