    Dear Aspirant

You can write the civil services exam as well

As the Indian Engineer Services exam on the basis of your graduate

Degree in b.tech as you are fully eligible for both exams

The criteria for the cse exam:

The candidate should be pass in the graduation from

    A recognized indian university

Or a final year student can also apply

Age limit:21-30 And relaxation for the obc of 3 years

And relaxation of age for the sc.st is 5 years

And for the Ies exam also same qualification just one difference

As for the cse exam just a graduate pass degree requires but in

Ies a b.tech pass degree requires

    Best of luck

As you are Mechanical Engineering graduate, you will be eligible for both CSAT & IES examination. The UPSC conducts theCSAT & IES examination every year. The essential qualification for the UPSC is to pass the Bachelors degree in any stream at any recognizeduniversity. Theage limit for it is 21-30years. The upper age limit for OBC is 3years and forSC/ST,it is 5years.
