    Can I give IMA exam this year while pursuing 10+2?

    hello
    as I am 10+2 appearing student so can give IMA exam this year??????

    No , you are not eligible to apply for IMA (Indian Military Academy ) Examination to apply for this examination , you should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification . So if you are not completed graduate degree then you are not eligible to apply for this examination .

    According to your qualification , you can join Indian Army through 10+2 TES Examination and NDA Army Examination .

    -->> 10+2 TES Examination is conducted by Indian Army twice in a year .
    -->> NDA Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year .

    NDA Exam Eligibility :-

    ~~ Applicant must be Citizenship of Indian Origin .
    ~~ 10+2 School Education of reputed Institution or equivalent qualification .
    ~~ NO aggregate marks required for this examination .
    ~~ Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible .
    ~~ Age limits :: 16.5 years - 19 years .


    NDA Exam is conducted for recruitment of Army wings , Navy wings and Air force wings . If you are wiling to join Navy / Air force wings then you should have a Mathematics and physics as main subjects . For Army wings , you should have a completed 12th exam from any desire subjects . Mostly NDA examination will be conducted in the month of April and August . Online Application forms will be available in the month of December / May .

    TES Exam Eligibility :-

    ~~ Applicant must be Citizenship of Indian Origin .
    ~~ 10+2 School Education of reputed Institution or equivalent qualification .
    ~~ 75% aggregate marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics required for this examination .
    ~~ Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible .
    ~~ Age limits :: 16.5 years - 19.5 years .



    So If you want to Join Indian Military Academy then you have to passed your graduate degree from any reputed Institution or equivalent qualification . After completing graduation , you need to crack the Combined Defence Service Examination to join Military Academy .

    yes you can give.
    you can write national defense academy examination which is conducted generally on april month, notification is issued on january month
    eligiblity criteria is 10+2 stream with mathematics as compulsory and either physics or chemistry
    candidates in +2 can also apply, but produce original certificate of apssing at the time of SSB interview. for more details refer to upsc. gov in
    the exam pattern is written followed by physical test and interview

    Dear,

    sorry to say you don't give the ima exam during pursuing the secondary class. ima exam under the cds exam.

    for the cds exam candidate must be graduate in stream from the recognized university.

    the age limit for the exam is 21 to 25 years.

    cds exam held two times in a year.

    if you want go to the army then you can give the NDA Exam.

    for the NDA exam the age limit 1s 16.5 years to 19 years.

    qualification is required secondary passed or pursuing with the science subject.

    NDA exam held two times in a year.

    for this exam only unmarried male candidate is eligible,female candidate is not eligible for this

    Hi Aspirant

    Sorry to say that you are not eligible for the IMA

    IMA: Stands for the Indian Military Academy

    And for the IMA You have to give the common defence services exam

    Which is conducting twice in a year from the upsc department

    But for the exam the candidate must be pass in graduation

    And as you are a 12th student so you can't apply for the IMA

    The Qualification Required for IMA:

    -The candidate must be pass in the graduation

    -The candidate age should be between 19-24

    And as you have not passed your graduation so

    You can't apply for the exam but for military or air force

    You can apply for the National Defence Academy exam


    For the exam the Qualification Required:

    -The candidate should be pass in 12th hsc exam with physics and maths

    -The candidate age should be between 16.5-19

    sorry to say that UPSC CDS IMA exam is conducted for graduates.

    but you can join Indian Air force, Navy, Indian Army through UPSC NDA exam .

    Eligibility Criteria For NDA Exam:

    1. 12th or equivalent with Math and Physics

    2. your age limit must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.


    if you go for graduation in Engineering then you can Apply for UPSC CDS IAF and INA and if you do graduation you can apply for OTA and IMA exam.

    Eligibility Criteria For CDS exam:

    1. Educational Qualification:

    • For IMA and OTA: graduation from recognized college or university.
    • For Air Force And INA: Engineering.

    2. Age Limit:

    • For INA: 19 to 22 years
    • For Air force: 19 to 23 years
    • For IMA: 19 to 24 years
    • For OTA: 19 to 25 years.

    Sure, you can apply for IMA[Indian Military Academy] if appearing in 10+2.

    You need to appear NDA Entrance Examination which is carried out by UPSC twice in a year.

    dear aspirant on 12th basis upsc conducts
    National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA)
    twice a year for the jobs in the three defense forces of INDIA namely ARMY,AIR FORCES, NAVY.

    this years NDA I and NDA II both the examinations are already held by upsc
    so you can not apply for them right now .
    you have to apply for the next years NDA examinations.

    the notification for the NDA I 2013 examination
    is going to be released by the mid of DECEMBER .
    so you can surely try for that to join IMA.

    the age limit to apply for the NDA examination 16.5 to 19 years.
    along with that you must have
    PHYSICS MATHEMATICS ENGLISH as your subjects
    in the 12th standard.
