dear strategy should be like that so that you can efficiently perform in the upsc exam,
you can simply follow the candidates who previously passed the exam and followed specific strategy .
just manage your time for studies,
select a time in which you will study only for the preparation of exam,
then make a time table for that time period and include every subjects in it and give appropriate time to each subjects ,
solve more and more practice papers .
For any kind of information regarding upsc exams just visit the official website of upsc,
www.upsc.gov.in
all the very best!

Hi friend,

Well mine friend, it will help you , in a better way, if you fill us with about which examination you are talking about.
Well, I guess that you are talking about Civil services 2013.
SO, there are quite few guidelines to follow which do help for sure like :
>> Joining some nice coaching, always helps
>> Self studying about 10 hrs a day
>> Focusing on GK and History , better say whole social science type subjects.
>> Other better options are Reading News paper thoroughly, emphasizing on Editorial matter
etc
List of some good coaching centers :
>> TIME
>> Rao's IAS academy
>> Career launcher
>> Career Shaper
etc
Hope it helps!!
