after doing b.com from an ugc recognised university, to become an ips officer you need to crack civil services examination.
in order to apply for the same, you can apply from upsc.gov.in or you can get the offline application form from the head post offices.

to become an IPS officer you have to apply for Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC after completing graduation(B.Com(Computers) in case of you). or you can also apply for the exam while pursuing in final year of graduation.

Civil Services exam conducted in three phases:
1. CSAT(Prelims)
2. Mains
3. Interview


for Civil Services Exam your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
