Eligibility Criteria For UPSC IES:

1. You can apply for IES exam after completing or while appearing in final year of B.E/B.Tech in any stream From recognized college or university.
2. Your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

2. only civil,electrical,electronic and telecommunication and mechanical engineers are eligible for the IES.
3. candidates who appearing in final year of engineering can also apply for the IES upsc exam.
4. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
5. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
6. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.
