Dear if you want to make your career in Vigilance Department of India then you should think to appear for another examination that is not conducted by UPSC board because first recruitment in this department with all other relating as - CBI, CAG, CBDT etc. so you have to appear for mentioned examination that is below and get the job
SSC - Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level Examination
SSC Conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination once a year in two sections that is - Tier I examination and Tier II examination then skill test and personality test so if you want to apply for this examination then wait for the next year's recruitment because this year's Tier I exam has been conducted and you are only eligible to apply for this test in next year
To apply for this test you should have completed your graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institute
Age should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST
When you will apply then you should prefer this post and that will be the Assistant Level post in Central Vigilance Commission of India and start preparation for this exam and examination pattern is following as
Tier I examination - Objective type test
General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability - 50 questions for 50 marks
Quantitive Aptitude and Numerical Ability - 50 questions for 50 marks
English Language and General English - 50 questions for 50 marks
General Awareness and General Knowledge - 50 questions for 50 marks
If you will qualify this examination then only you will be allowed to appear for Tier II exam so you have to pass each stage of the recruitment to get job
Tier II examination : There will be following two papers in objective type pattern :
Quantitive Abilities - 200 marks
English Language and Comprehension - 200 marks
Qualifying in each subject is compulsory by securing minimum qualifying marks
If you pass this stage then you will be called for interview process and if you score good marks in interview and your score comes under the required marks to get selected for Assistant Post in CVC then you will get the job
After getting job you may get promotion for further posts and generally IAS Officers selected through Indian Civil Service Exam are also appointed for various posts in this department
