After the main exam when are the interview generally scheduled? And how do we apply to participate in the interview?

Dear Friend,

After completion of Main examination next round will be Interview Round.
A list of selected candidate will be prepared who are successfully got cleared in Main Examination.
They will be called for Interview round.
Candidate don't need to apply for Interview round again.
Everything will be registered with UPSC when you apply for Main examination after you get select in prelims.
You will be selected on the basis of your performance in Main examination so you don't need to apply for Interview round again.

Hi Aspirant,

The interview is conducted after the result declaration of mains exam.

Here I write the approximate exam month of CS exam.

Generally UPSC issues the notification for civil exam in the month of December and last date of application is with 30 days.

Prelims exam will be held in the 3^rd weeks of may and mains exam will be held in the month of October. Mains exam is descriptive types.

After that interview and personality test is conducted in the month of April next year.

While result will be declare in the first week of May.

So friend the interview will be held in April of next year and only those candidates will be called for interview who acquire the qualifying marks in mains exam.

If you acquire qualifying marks, certainly you can take part in Interview.
