Dear,
the age limit for the central government employee is same like as the Other candidate.
the age relaxation only for Ex-service and the reserve category.
the age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30years.
best of luck for the exam
age criteria for the UPSC examination depends on the category of the aspirants.
for the examination such as combined defense services examination, civil services examination, central police forces examination etc the aspirants of the OBC,SC/ST category are prior to get age relaxation.
for the OBC category aspirants the age relaxation is of 3 years .
for the SC/ST category aspirants the age relaxation is of 5 years .
apart form that there is an age relaxation of 5 years more
for the central government employees.
for example
if a central government employee belonging to the OBC category is willing to appear for the upsc examination,
then the total age relaxation for the him will be 3 years for his category plus 5 years for being a central government employee.so he will get an age relaxation of 8 years for the upsc examinations.

Dear Friend,
* UPSC Stands for "Union Public Service Commission".
Now as per your ask , i would like to inform you that there is no preference given to central government employees in age limits criteria in UPSC Exams.
* Only the Ex- Servicemen and the candidates from reserved categories have relaxation in age limits as the following :
a) For Ex-Servicemen - Relaxation in upper age upto 5 years.
b) For OBC Category Candidates - Relaxation in upper age upto 3 years.
c) For SC/ST Category Candidates - Relaxation in upper age upto 5 years.
So , The Central Government employees have to fulfill the same age limit criteria as that of General Category Candidates until and unless you belong to a reserved category.
This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want.
