You should mention the name of the examination that is conducted by the UPSC. The next UPSC examination will be held on If you want to go to the customs department, then you have to appear the CSAT examination. In CSAT examination, you must choose IRS(Indian Revenue Service) where you can join in Central Board of Excise & Customs as a Assistant commissioner of Customs.
