i am doing now final Bcom, i need a clear detail of where and when this civil service exams are conducted.

Well dear civil services exams are conducted every year by upsc.this exam is conducted on the various centres in india.this exams is mainly conducted in three stages.
Pre exam-this exam is conducted in the month of may.
Main exam-the candidates which are qualified have to give main exam which is conducted in the month of november.
Interview-it is conducted in the month of march.
Final results are declared in the month of april.

Preliminary exam has only 2 papers which are conducted for 400 marks and this would be your objective type exam and you will have to pass this prelims test then you would be allowed to appear for mains exam so that you should prepare well for his exam and if you will join any coaching institute in few days then also you may get the profit and collect enough knowledge to crack the UPSC IAS exam

**candidates who had qualified the preliminary exam,only those are eligible to appear for civil service main exam
