IPS exam stands for Indian police service which is conducted by UPSC.IPS exam is conducted to join IPS POST.
you can join this post after graduation from a any stream.There is no percentage requirement.
Your age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category strident.
You must be Indian citizen.

If you want to apply for the IPS exam then you must have a bachelor degree from a recognized university and your age must lies in between 21-30 years.
After clearing the IPS exam you can appply for the different branches like Crime,Vigilance,CBI,CID etc.
For all these departments you must have to clear the IPS exam.
You can apply for the vacancies in the different departments after clearing IPS exam.
