for example in.Chandigarh of Punjab and hariyana,and in Bhopal

, once you selected the state for your Prelim and Mains exam , you cannot change the location after that , well final round Interview are concerned this round takes

Selection Procedure for IAS post :
Preliminary Examination - Objective type two papers contains 400 marks and passing in prelims is obligatory
Main Examination - Conventional type seven papers contains 1800 marks and passing in each paper is mandatory
Personality Test - 275 marks and you will be eligible only after passing both above mentioned stages
