Why both Lok sabha and Rajyasabha work for so less time? Why can't they work for more number of days to solve the burning issues like Lokpal bill, Coal scam, 2G scam and etc.,?

    Hi Aspirant,

The time of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is decided by constitution.

It is well explained well in the constitution about all the session of Lok Sabha and Rajya sabha.

In special condition the session of Lok Sabha and Rajya sabha can be extended and many times it is done.

Now-a-days there is flood of scam in our country, daily a news scam is digging out.

Our system became fully corrupted from leg to head.

All the entire leader doesnt want to remain behind in looting of public and money.

They are very busy to make black money through scam.

Our all leader are involved in these scam in any from.

They only fulfill the formalities in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha to raise the issue.

Now matter comes in the hand of CBI and CBI also works under PMO so you can understand what will be the consequence. They also fulfill only formalities after sometime close the case. When the matter will be old and new scam matter will take place.

    Best of Luck

Lok sabha and Rajya Sabha meets during 3 sessions every year
    1) Budget session
    2) Monsoon session
    3) Winter session
THe working time on each day in a session starts from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM
Lok sabha does not sit ordinarily on all saturdays and sundays and other govt. holidays.
But this time when parliament for monsoon session , the legislative business was completely disrupted.
Almost no new bills was passed and there are a lot of pending issues like Lokpal bill. Govt. is not giving any positive reply for Coal scam, 2G scam etc.
And the opposition members are demanding the resignation of prime minister. Parties like Tiranamool congress has withdrew its support for UPA.
So the govt. is very keen to save its position and the opposition parties want to make use of this opportunity to dissolve lok sabha and conduct fresh elections. thus bith ruling party and opposition party is concerned in solving these burning issues.
