Well dear being a journalist you would not get relaxation for the civil services examination.only age relaxation and attempt relaxation is provided as per the rules of government to obc candidates.so dear if you belong to any of them then you can get that relaxation either nothing more for you.best of luck

For Civil Service exam candidate must be Graduate from any recognized university
Age should be between 21-30 year
Age relaxation for OBC candidate 3 years
For SC/ST Candidate 5 years
So dear UPSC not provide any kind of relaxation for other except OBC And SC/ST category.
Therefore being a Journalist you can not get any relaxation
If you belong SC/ST or OBC then you can get age relaxation.
