    dear friend,

If you are a central government employ then you have 5 years of relaxation in upper age limit. So your upper age limit becomes 35 years for general Group.
so yes, you can definitely apply for UPSC Civil Services exam.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    1. You should have bachelors of degree in any stream from recognized college or university

    2. Age Limit For Central Government employ:

General: 21 years to 35 years

OBC: 21 years to 38 years

    SC/ST: 21 years to 40 years.

    Good Luck.........

You are not eligible for UPSC Civil Services exams as relaxation of Upper age limit is applicable to

only reserved category candidates OBC/SC/ST/PH or Ex-Servicemen of defence forces or candidates

domiciled from state of J&K etc.The Age Limit in General category is 21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam.

    There is
no provision of age relaxation for Govt.sector employees in the UPSC CSE or any other category of candidates.

    For more
details read the Exam notification documents of CSE carefully and visit www.upsc.gov.in
